Take Five Placemat/Table Runner Workshop

I am taking a little different approach when you have 0.5 meters each of 5 corresponding fabrics and create 5 placemats. The top, backing and binding are all done with your fabrics

Time: 1 – 4 pm

Location - Burlington

Dates:  Wed. Dec. 3rd 2025 and Dec. 10th, 2025.

Class registration fees include the cost of the pattern.

Supplies:

Fabric and Notions:

• **0.5 meters each of five coordinating fabrics, five fabrics you like together, it could be by theme (2.5m all together)
  OR
  5 fat quarters of coordinating fabrics
  NOTE:  If doing the runner : 5 fat quarters, 1 m backing

• 1.5m for backing

• 0.5 m for binding

• Batting; enough to back the five placemats 13” x 18”

• Cotton Thread (ie. Aurifil) for piecing

• Embroidery thread as a decorative thread when finishing

• Take Five Pattern

Sewing Supplies to bring to class:

• Sewing machine in working order with a 1/4" foot

• Rotary cutter, Omni Ruler

• Pins, scissors, sewing supplies

• Notebook and pen for notes if taken

• Paper to label parts, (you may use the numbered pins)
