It’s never too early to start sewing for the holidays! In this festive class, students will create the “Holiday Keepsakes” quilt, a generous lap quilt measuring approximately 52" x 72" and featuring a collection of favorite Christmas objects including ornaments, gifts, and trees.
This quilt is a great project for both planned fabrics and stash lovers. You can choose to make it using coordinated yardage or create a more scrappy look using a variety of holiday prints, all tied together with a common background fabric. The design uses straightforward piecing techniques, making it approachable and fun while still creating a visually interesting quilt.
No specialty tools are required, making this a perfect class for quilters who enjoy traditional patchwork with a festive twist.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Students should be comfortable with basic rotary cutting and sewing.
Pattern will be supplied in class.
