Join our guest, Gail Heller, certified Aurifilosopher for a presentation on Aurifil thread. She will provide you with great insights into Aurifil’s history, the production process for Aurifil threads and will help you to understand what makes Aurifil what is arguably the best thread for your quilting and embroidery projects.
Did you know that the major European fashion houses use Aurifil thread when sewing their couture gowns and bags? Gail will share this bit of information and much more during the lecture.
She will also discuss the various thread weights and how you should use them for various projects. Piecing, machine and hand embroidery, hand stitching/big stitching and needlepoint will all be discussed.
Throughout the presentation, Gail will share photos of projects and will also share a fun video from a couture fashion house. And best of all there will be a trunk show featuring samples of work done with Aurifil thread.
Registration is $25 per person and when you attend, you'll receive a $25 gift card to be used at the event to purchase Aurifil products.
