Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate bag maker (must be a confident beginner sewer)

PREWORK:

Read pattern thoroughly. Photocopy template page and cut out template and labels. Make sure you have rulers and rotary cutters for first day! Lots of cutting!

First class will be cutting, labelling and preparing the quilt sandwich. A walking foot is necessary for this step.

Supplies:

• Archie or Violet backpack pattern by Knot + Thread Designs
• Sewing machine in working order with walking foot.
• Good quality thread. Neutrals thread, beige or grey, are a good choice.
• Sewing supplies;

  • Extra sewing machine needles
  • Scissors
  • Rotary cutter and rulers.
