These are SLIM 18mm (3/4") magnetic snap closures. These have a very strong magnetism. Easy to install, no special tools required. Installation instructions available on my blog under Tutorials.

Great feel to fabric. Subtle and cute mushroom design.
To install it requires the attachment mounting plate (pg. 94 in manual), and that is included with the FA4 serger. Once installed it's a useful tool for keeping serging seams straight! I'm happy to have it!!

This review is a huge "thank you" to Paula at The Quilt Store West in Burlington. On October 29, I was in the area for another event and stopped in to the shop.
