Description
This scrappy quilt is most effective in two colour families, combined with a neutral.
The class sample has a red colour family and a green one with light beige neutral.  But, any combination of colour families may be used.
The neutral can be one fabric, used throughout or a combination of scrappy neutrals.  It should be fairly plain- not too much print or it will detract from the main fabrics.
Each colour family should comprise of many different fabrics/prints and there can be variation in tones/values.  The more variety, the better.  This is a great time to check out your “stash” at home-or explore The Quilt Store’s fat quarters and yardages!
