I am way too old to be crawling around on the floor pinning a quilt sandwich. Spray basting is absolutely the way to go!
I love this fabric. It is so beautiful that I decided to use it in a different project than it was originally intended.
The straight stitch plate improved the accuracy of the beginning and ending of quarter inch seams when doing straight stitch. I usually use a small piece of fabric to start and end seams and I found the stitch plate provided better control especially with a fabric such as tana lawn cotton.
