Description
Create this delightful Laura Jacket with 12 fabrics for spring or autumn. It may have inside pockets or inseam side pockets (optional). You create your own quilted fabric with the fabrics of your choice. Please feel free to try on the jacket (size M) in the store to determine your appropriate size.
Location - Burlington
Wed. Oct. 22, 29 and Nov. 5, & 12, 2025 from 1 - 4 pm.
Class registration fees include the cost of the pattern.
Supplies:
Fabric and Notions:
- ¼ m of 12 fabrics (or 12 fat quarters) : extra fabric is needed (used) for the pockets from this set of 12.
- ½ m binding fabric to make your own, or 4 ¼ m premade 20mm bias tape
- 1 m batting
- Lining
XS – M 2m cotton lining
L – XXL 2.5 m cotton lining - 7 +/- buttons (3/4")
- Tracing paper for the tracing your pattern pattern is optional
Sewing Supplies to bring to class:
- Sewing machine in working order with a 1/4" foot
- Co-ordinating Thread
- Hand sewing needle, pins, clips, scissors, ect.
- Marking pencil
- Mini iron (if you have one for the first class and the wool mat)
PRE-WORK:
**Please note: To save time, have your 12 fabrics cut into 24 rectangles each for the first class.
