Quilted Jacket Workshop

Description

Quilted jackets are so popular right now- isn’t it time to make one? This class will assist you along your journey to make a one of a kind jacket.

The jacket is “boxy”, rather than fitted to allow for the “body” created by the quilting. It is neither a garment making nor a quilt making course, although both will be used.

The first class (no machine required for it) will explore different patterns and fabric choices. Bring along any fabrics, quilt blocks, and jacket patterns that you would like to consider using- or just have an open mind to the possibilities.

The book Patchwork Jackets is strongly recommended and will be used for reference and jacket pattern (if desired).
