Description
Have you always wanted to learn how to quilt? This beginner-friendly course is the perfect place to start! You'll learn the fundamentals of quilting as you create a beautiful block sampler featuring a variety of classic quilt blocks, including the Nine Patch, Broken Dishes, Friendship Star, Log Cabin, and more. Along the way, you'll learn piecing, adding borders, layering your quilt, binding, and simple quilting techniques. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to continue quilting on your own while completing a wall hanging, table runner or pet blanket.

Finished Size: Approximately 19" × 31"

Fabric Requirements
- 6 coordinating fat quarters
- 0.5 meter backing fabric
- 0.4 meter binding fabric (or four 2½" WOF strips)
- Three 1½" WOF strips for the border
- 20" × 32" piece of batting
Additional Supplies:
- Sewing machine in good working order for straight stitching
- Coordinating thread
- Rotary cutter
- Quilting ruler (a quilting wand or acrylic ruler)
- Tape measure
- Quilt in a Day 6½" × 6½" ruler (recommended, but not required)
- Notebook and pen for taking notes
