Curious about sewing with rope? Join us for a fun and relaxed Rope Bowl Sewing Class, perfect for anyone new to this creative technique or have taken this class before and are interested in learning new techniques.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of sewing coiled rope bowls using your sewing machine. You’ll leave with a beautiful, functional piece and the skills to make more at home.
What’s included:

✔️ 4 hours of instruction and sewing time
✔️ Tips for shaping and finishing your bowl
What to bring:
- Scrap fabric pieces (to add pops of colour and texture)
- Thread – choose a neutral, single-colour, or variegated polyester thread for a fun effect
- Your sewing machine in good working order capable of doing a wide zig zag
- Jeans Sewing Machine Needles
No prior experience with rope bowls is needed. Just bring your creativity and get ready to have fun!
