My husband gets a certain amount of $ a year from a special program from work to buy something to start a hobby. He’s a sweet heart ♥️ and shared it with me. That’s why I was finally able to buy one !
Making quilts is not one of my activities. I buy panels in order to use them as decorations for the room where the Corporation des aìnés de la Cabane en bois rond in Gatineau holds an annual activity "Le thé printanier" (I am in charge of its organization). Each spring, we serve three teas from a different country where teas are grown. In May 2026, we will serve one tea from Corea, one tea from Sri Lanka and one tea from Nepal. The Boho Bloom panel reminds me a bit of the mandala patterns typical of the countries around India. So it will hang at our next "Spring tea".
However, since I retired 14 years ago, beside knitting, needlepoint and embroidery, I do a fair amount of sewing: clothing for me and historical costumes for me and family members and close friends.
I love the Gamut Thread. It runs smooth through my Bernina and the project turns out beautiful with this thread.
