Bought this as an Open Box sewing machine, would never say this was a demo! Excellent shape, as if it was brand new, and great quality! Very fast shipment from this quilt store! If your looking to buy a sewing machine online this is the place to buy! I would give more stars if i could!

Great little seam ripper

I recently used the Bernina Lap Seam Foot #71 to bind a quilt, and it proved to be an excellent tool for applying binding by machine. Attaching the binding with this foot made the process far smoother than when using a stitch-in-the ditch or walking foot.
The design allows the needle to stitch right along the edge of the binding, resulting in a clean, even finish. I especially liked how securely the fabric was guided—there was far less shifting, and the binding fed neatly and evenly. The visibility around the needle area also made it easy to ensure everything stayed aligned.

Eye catching design!!!

I ordered around 60 different colours of solids and asked if they would put a label on each colour, so I knew the names. No problem at all. Thank you very much for that.

I didn't get a shipping message after a week, so I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a real person who checked on my order number and told me to expect a shipping notice later that week and to call back if I didn't hear from them by Friday at 4pm. By Thursday, I had a shipping notice with tracking and the sewing machine was delivered to my front door a few days later. Sewing machine works great and I would order from The Quilt Store again.
