Description
Using a variety of rulers, students will learn how to create shapes and patterns commonly used in quilting with a domestic sewing machine. A selection of various types of rulers will be made available for students to use in class. If you have rulers, please feel free to bring them along to practice.

Supplies Required for class:

Domestic sewing machine in good working condition with a new needle
- Must be able to drop feed dogs on your sewing machine•
- Ruler Foot attachement that works with your model of sewing machine. Please note that a darning foot will not work for ruler work. Please contact the store for assistance locating a Ruler Foot that will work with your machine
- Quilt Sandwich approximately 18" x 24" (white or light neutral is preferred)
- Good Quality 50 wt. Thread. Please pick a thread that contrasts with your quilt sandwich.
- General sewing supplies (ie. scissors, pins, seam ripper etc.)
